 The WHITE WINE GAMETM is an easy to learn and fun to play game for 2 to 6 adults.
Team play is possible too. There is a Simple Version of the game for people who want to
get right to the action. The Complete Version contains more player interaction and
strategy. Also, there is a Two Wine Version for players interested in exploring the
differences between two types of white wine (such as a Chardonnay and a Sauvignon Blanc)
or two different bottles of the same varietal (such as two Chardonnays).
Open a bottle of any white wine. Choose from Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, Gewürztraminer,
Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc or any of the other great varieties of

Complementing Wine And This Game, describes 30 varieties of white wine you may want to
try.
Prepare four food items of your choice - anything from opening a box of snack crackers
to preparing a gourmet dish will do. You will find some ideas among the 45 recipes in

Players begin by viewing, smelling and tasting the wine to record the colors, aromas
and flavors they observe. Points are earned as players move around the game board and land
on spaces corresponding to the wine characteristics identified by the most players. Most
enjoyable, players visit Food Match spaces where they sample the wine in combination with a
food item. In the Complete Version of the game, players gain and lose sets of Recipe cards
that add to their point totals. At the end of the game, players total their points to
determine a winner and discuss their observations regarding the wine and food.
